Focus on Policy

Focus on PolicyThe work of the Institute supports the formulation and implementation of health policies and programs that promote the health and well-being of children and youth, especially those with special health care needs and informs stakeholders about emerging policy and program initiatives. In keeping with this goal, faculty disseminate research, policy and program information, and interpret research to policy-makers and the public.

Specific faculty-initiated activities have included developing and providing Web-based access to policy, program, and research-related materials; conference presentations; instructional videos and other resources; facilitating networking and collaboration among stakeholders; and advising program directors and policy makers.
